The Minneosta Building Contractor softball team is heading to the State C Men&8217;s Slowpitch Tournament in Austin and out to Portland, Ore. for nationals.

The state tournament will be this weekend and nationals will be over Labor Day weekend. The team qualified for state and nationals by going undefeated at the Cambridge qualifier on July 7.

The team has been playing solid baseball over the last six weeks peaking at the right time.

The team consists of: Mark Halbach (pitcher), Troy Deboer (catcher), Davey Nystrom (catcher/outfield), Mike Diemer (first base), Buck Nelson (first base/extra hitter), Doug Fink (second base), Jeff Schulz (middle infield), Todd Taylor (shortstop), Ryan Long (third base), Greg Severtson (outfield), Brad Carlson (outfield), Josh Ladwig (outfield) and Derek Fleek (shotstop/extra hitter).
