Funeral services for Lois N. Koch, 86, of Glenville, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Church of Christ in Albert Lea. Dr. David DeFor and the Rev. Mike Gerhart will officiate. Interment will be at Hillcrest cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from

Lois died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007, at the Northwood Retirement Home.
Lois Naomi Koch was born Dec. 30, 1920, to Chester and Hazel (Leaf) Snell in Marshalltown, Iowa. She grew up in Marshalltown and graduated from Marshalltown High School. On Dec. 21, 1941, she wed Donald Koch in Marshalltown, Iowa. The couple moved to the Glenville area in February of 1951, where they farmed. Lois was a housewife and helped her husband with the books for his seed corn business for Funk and AgriPro, also for McNess feeds and household products. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Austin, and member of the Church Ladies Aid, Farm Bureau, Riverside Neighborhood club, and PTA at school.
Lois enjoyed playing piano and organ also playing games.
Survivors include her husband, Donald; sons, Ronald (Becky) Koch of Littleton, Colo., and Robert (Carla) Koch of Glenville; grandchildren, Rachel (Jim) Waterman of Bozeman, Mont., and Bradley Koch and fianc/e, Moriah Bain of Ft. Collins, Colo.; great-granddaughter Kalli Waterman; brothers-in-law, Loyd Darner of Yucca Valley, Calif., and Howard Gallentine of New Richland; sisters-in-law, Darlene (Ray) Cannon of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Connie Koch of Glenville; and many nieces and nephews.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ruth Lawrence and Louise Darner; sister-in-law, Shirley Gallentine; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Koch.
