Maridee Jacobson Riestad died peacefully on Feb. 3, 2007.

Maridee was preceded in death by her husband Loren Reistad on Jan. 6, 2005.

Maridee was born Oct. 11, 1923, and Loren on Dec. 26, 1923, in the Hartland/Freeborn Area. They met and dated in Freeborn High School and were married on May 9th, 1941. They lived their early years in Minnesota, then moved to San Diego when Loren was in the Marines. Once Loren left the service, he worked for the Bell Telephone Company in Minnesota and Arizona. Maridee was a CPA and owned an employment agency with two offices in Phoenix and one in Tucson. Their hobbies included golf, bowling and traveling in their motor home. They loved their dogs; the last one Charro is with them in heaven.
