Worth County students eligible for school supplies

NORTHWOOD, Iowa &8212; The Worth County Development Authority announced the first &8220;Back to School&8221; program. This is a program in which all students grades k-12 that live in Worth County will get a $50 gift car each to be used for school supplies only. This is not based on need.

The child must be registered for school before pick up of the gift cards.

The parent must come to the WCDA office, 88 Eighth St. N. in Northwood, to pick up the cards. The office is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and open until 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Parents must sign an agreement to use the gift cards for school supplies only.
