In loving memory of Blanch Theresa Goodnature Sliger, born July 24, 1929, in Geneva, passed away Aug. 25, 2007, in Poway, Calif.

Preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Richard Sliger, on April 23, 2007, sister, Naomi Johnson, and brothers, david, Vincent, George, and Lester Goodnature.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Joan Helms, of Poway, Calf., step-daughter, Joan Pinkert, of Portland, Ore., step-sons, Richard Jr. and Charles Sliger, of Minneapolis, her loving sister, Marie Ferguson, of Albert Lea, and three grandsons, Michael, Timothy and Andrew Helms, all of Calif.

Blanch and Richard lived in Tucson, Ariz., for the past 25 years where they enjoyed camping and walks in the desert. She also enjoyed painting, jewelry making and gardening. Blanch was a wonderful woman and a loving mother; she will be missed by all.

A funeral mass will be held on Monday at St. Gabriel’s Church in Poway, Calif.
