Memorial services for Keith V. Johnson, 63, of Wyoming, and formerly of Albert Lea, were held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 17, at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home. The Rev. David Hernes officiated. Keith died on Aug. 23, 2007, at the VA Medical Center in Sheridan, Wyo.
Keith Vincent Johnson was born on July 10, 1944, in Albert Lea, the son of Vincent and Ruth (McCoy) Johnson. He grew up in Albert Lea and graduated from ALHS in 1962. Following school, Keith joined the U.S. Navy. He returned to Albert Lea after his military service and worked for UPS. In the early 1960&8217;s, Keith was married to Kathy Maas of Albert Lea in California. They were later divorced. Keith later moved to Colorado where he worked in home construction. He was married in Colorado to Sandy Larson. He moved to Wyoming following his marriage to Sandy. Keith worked for a company doing road construction as well as carpentry. He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed hunting and the outdoors.
Survivors include his daughter Kristin (Matt) Tuggle of Denver; grandchildren Chelsea, Hannah, and Kyle Tuggle, all of Denver; his mother Ruth (Lloyd) Larson of Lakeville; sisters Janice (Corlyn) Paulsen of Lakeville, Janet (Odean) Jerdee of Hayward, and Vicki (Steve) Legried of Austin; brothers Tim (Nancy) Larson of Burnsville, Terry (Linda) Larson of Apple Valley, and Christopher (Janet) Johnson of Robbinsdale; and many nieces and nephews.
Keith was preceded in death by his father, Vincent Johnson.
