MAPLETON &8212; The Alden-Conger volleyball team improved to 4-0 on the year with a four-game victory over Maple River 17-25, 25-11, 25-21, 25-22.

The Knights got solid contributions from several players on the night, but it was their ability to step up on the defensive end which was key in the final two games.

Megan Miller led the team with seven aces and 22 assists, Haley Johnson had seven blocks and Alyssa Bangert had seven kills.
