PETRAN &8212; Expect loud noise at about 9 a.m. Thursday if you live near the Holiday Park Golf Course.

Freeborn County Sheriff Mark Harig announced Wednesday afternoon that Alliance Pipeline contacted him about maintenance at their facility on Oakland Road. He said the loud noise will last for about five to seven minutes.

Harig said his office has notified residents who live within a mile of the site. Freeborn County residents can skip calling emergency officials if they hear the loud noise.
