Kathleen Mae Stenzel, 71, of Owatonna, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007 at her home.

Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Owatonna.

She was born June 20, 1936 in Owatonna, the daughter of Leonard Johnson and Borghild L. (Hogaas) Johnson-Hatle.

Kathy graduated from Dodge Center High School in 1954.

She married Victor Thomas Stenzel on Sept. 14, 1959 in Wells.

Kathy worked at the Wells Telephone Company, The Owatonna Lamp Company, Dairy Queen in Owatonna, and Brooktree Golf Course.

Kathy loved her family very much.

She was always proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She enjoyed reading, sewing, traveling, golfing, flower gardening and spending time with family and friends.

Kathy was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Victor Stenzel of Owatonna; children, Peter (and Penny) Stenzel of Owatonna, Tim (and Audrey) Stenzel of Mantorville, Linda (and Troy) Matejcek of Owatonna, John (and Barb) Stenzel of Blooming Prairie; grandchildren, Alicia Stenzel of Faribault, Danielle Stenzel of Owatonna, Mitchell Stenzel and Kendra Stenzel both of Mantorville, Eric (and Fiance Nicole Kubat) Matejcek of Owatonna, Caleb Matejcek of Owatonna, Rachael Stenzel of Kasson, John Joseph &8220;J.J.&8221; Stenzel of Blooming Prairie; great-grandchildren, Alex, Makayla and Isaiah; brothers, Lynn (and Sherry) Johnson

of Mankato, Andrew Johnson of Palestine, Texas;

aunt Harriet Paulson formerly of Owatonna and several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
