Mrs. Theresa L. Phillips, 43, passed away from cancer, Monday Oct. 8, 2007, in Winter Haven, Fla.

Born on Aug. 4, 1964, in Albert Lea, Mrs. Phillips had been a resident of Wahneta, Fla., for the past 23 years. Mrs. Phillips had worked in the deli department for both Publix and Wal-Mart.

Mrs. Phillips is preceded in death by her sister, Tonya Grove.

She is survived by a loving family that includes her husband of 22 years, R.L. Phillips of Wahneta, Fla.; son, Andrew &8220;A.J.&8221; Phillips; mother, Jane Rousey (Robert) of Lake Wales, Fla.; father, Harold Grove and brother Todd Grove, both of Glenville; mother-in-law, Delila Mercer (Frank) of Homeland, Fla.; father-in-law Roy Phillips of Winter Haven, Fla.; and step siblings, Robin Brittle, Tina Hughes and Robby Rousey. She also leaves behind three sisters-in-law, Selina Phillips, Renee Arlt and Deanna Mercer; brother-in-law, Gary Foust; and many other extended family members.

The family received friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 E. Main St. in Bartow, Fla. Services for Mrs. Phillips followed today at 10 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Condolences may be made at www.whiddenmcleanfuneralhome.com.
