Russell Paulson, 83, Albert Lea

Memorial services for Russell B. Paulson, 83, of Albert Lea, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Clarks Grove. The Rev. Jamie Cameron will officiate. Private interment will be in the Clarks Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home.

Russell died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, at St. John&8217;s Lutheran Home.

Russell Paulson was born to Edward and Eva (Goodhope) Paulson on Nov. 7, 1924, in Viborg, S.D. The family moved to a farm north of Albert Lea in 1930. Russell graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1942 and married Audrey Nelson on Jan. 30, 1954. Three daughters were born to them. He farmed for many years and retired in 1982. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Clarks Grove since his baptism on his 13th birthday. Russell had many responsibilities in the church.

Survivors include his wife, Audrey; daughters, Lorelie (Dallas) Redlin, Teresa (Bill) Colon, and Joy Koltz; eight grandchildren, Mikala (Ken) Redlin Larson, Stefan and Trevor Redlin, Justin, Sara and Jared Colon, Kasey and Clinton Koltz; great-grandchild, Caleb Larson; and brother, Harris Paulson.

Russell was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Vernon, Maurice and Milton.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to First Baptist Church, Clarks Grove.
