Maxine Reyerson, 74, of Albert Lea

Maxine O. Reyerson, 74, of Albert Lea, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2007, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.
Funeral services for Maxine will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home, Albert Lea. The Rev. Carl Lagow will officiate. Interment will be at the Silver Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Maxine O. Reyerson was born on April 15, 1933, to Merril and Cora (Pederson) Christianson in Forest City, Iowa. She attended country schools. Her family moved around working on different farms where Maxine helped raise her siblings and helped with the cooking and baking. She married Joe Diaz and the couple had four children. In 1958 Maxine married Curtis Reyerson, they made their home in rural Northwood, Iowa. The couple had five children, Maxine&8217;s greatest times were raising her family. In 1965 she and her family were in a car accident that took the lives of three of her children. Maxine also worked at the Lake Mills Nursing Home. She was an excellent cook and baker, a quiet lady with a kind heart. Maxine loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her children Bob Diaz; Lucy (Jeff) Paulson both of Albert Lea; Daniel (Jodi) Reyerson of Cedar Falls, Iowa; Ron (Denise Jacobson) Reyerson of Albert Lea; Don (Sue) Reyerson of Oelwein, Iowa; and Chris (Marie) Reyerson of Grand Rapids; grandchildren Dominic Diaz, Angel Diaz, Krystal and Holly Paulson, Grady, Taylor, Garrett, Adam, Josh, Jenny, Andy, Joey, Braun, Brittney and Breanna Reyerson; great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth (Mavis) Christianson, and sister-in-law, Annabelle Christianson; nieces and nephews.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, daughters Rebecca, Mary Lou and Vicky Marie; brothers Clarence, Charlie and Jerry Christianson; sisters Arlene (Carl) Oswaldson and Adeline (Butch) Johnson.
