ST. CLAIR &8212; The New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva girls&8217; basketball team came up short in its bid to win the St. Clair Holiday Tournament when it lost in the semifinals Friday night to St. Clair 59-43.

Alyssa Kerkhoff had an outstanding all around game for the Panthers with 12 points, six boards, three steals, and three assists while Alyssa Hagen added 13 points and six rebounds.

The Panthers faced Nicollet Saturday in the consolation round.
