ALBDC hosted Brown Bag Lunch

The Albert Lea Business Development Center hosted their bi-monthly Brown Bag Lunch presentation on Jan. 10 at noon. Daniel Otten, senior commercial lender of Farmers State Bank, spoke on &8220;Basics for Business Start-up or Expansion.&8221; Hand-outs on &8220;How to Write a Business Plan&8221; and Web site resources were available to attendees.

The Brown Bag Lunch presentations began nearly two years ago to assist and encourage entrepreneurs and others in achieving business success.

Everyone brings their own lunch and the presentations generally last an hour. It is the goal to provide valuable and useful information which participants can utilize in their business.

The next Brown Bag Lunch is scheduled for Thursday, March 13, at noon here at the Albert Lea Business Development Center. Nancy VanderWaerdt of State Farm Insurance will be discussing team building and customer service.
