Clement Schultz, 78, Wells

Clement J. Schultz, 78, of Wells, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008, at his home in Wells. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Wells with a Rosary at 9:30 a.m. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells with a prayer service at 8 p.m., with visitation continuing one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. The Rev. Eugene Stenzel will officiate and burial will be in the St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery, Wells, with Military Honors by the Wells Color Guard.
Clem J. Schultz was born April 20, 1929, in Dunbar Township, Faribault County, the son of John A. and Mary (Troska) Schultz. He married Janet Warmka on Oct. 6, 1956, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Easton. Clem farmed his entire life and enjoyed woodworking. He was always ready to lend a hand to his friends and family. Clem was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, and the Rosary Society.
He is survived by wife Janet of Wells; three children: Craig (wife Janelle) Schultz of Wells, Brian &8220;Buzzy&8221; (wife Carol) Schultz of Wells, Leanne (husband Brian) Tukua of Freeborn; eight grandchildren: Amanda (Martin) Carlson of Mankato, Katherine (Nathaniel) Walton of Mankato, Jennifer Schultz of St. Paul, Sarah, Laura, and Andy Schultz of Wells, Ashley Tukua (special friend Chris Hotzler) of Winona, and Abbey Tukua of Freeborn; one great-grandson Noah Walton of Mankato; two brothers: Norbert (wife Margaret) Schultz of New Richland, Francis (wife Angie) Schultz of Janesville; two sisters: Sister Mary Florence C.R. of Chicago, Ill., Dorothy (husband Steve) Horvat of Lowry; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Clem was preceded in death by his parents, brother Phillip Schultz, and grandson Jason Schultz.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Casimir Catholic Church or to Crossroads Community Hospice.
