Two meetings are planned to get input on two proposed Albert Lea ordinances involving rental units.
The meetings are planned for 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Feb. 13 at the Albert Lea Senior Center in Skyline Plaza.
The proposed ordinance would start a crime-free rental housing program. The plan will be sent to the Albert Lea City Council for approval, but firs the Albert Lea Fire Department and the Albert Lea Police Department want feedback from local residents, particularly landlords, property managers and tenants.
If you have any questions contact Inspector Mark Roche of the Albert Lea Fire Department at 377-4340, Cpl. Tim Matson of the Albert Lea Police Department at 377-5154 or officer Ben Mortensen Jr. of the Albert Lea Police Department at 377-5227.
