Stray dogs, unwanted cats and cold weather conditions have resulted in several reports for Albert Lea police officers.

During the past several days loose dogs have either been impounded or returned to their owners.

On the city&8217;s west side two loose dogs were found by a police officer. His report stated &8220;(it) appears their feet were frozen.&8221; The dogs, which were licensed, were returned to their owner.

On Tuesday someone left two cats at the apartment building at 800 S. Fourth Ave. The cats were impounded.
