Man dies on I-35

HANLONTOWN, Iowa &8212; Bradley Jamison, 46, of Savage, died when his Chevrolet Impala struck a wrecker assisting a stranded motorist parked on the shoulder of Interstate 35 near Mile Marker 204 north of the Hanlontown exit at 8:10 a.m. Monday, according to the Iowa State Patrol.
The Jamison vehicle was southbound when the collision occurred. The accident report filed by the patrol said there were several vehicles in the ditch due to weather and icy road conditions.
The
Forest City, Iowa, Ambulance assisted at the scene and transported Jamison to Mercy Hospital in Mason City Iowa.
Man arrested for DWI
Brian Alan Hoffman, 29, was arrested at 9:22 p.m. Saturday for third- degree DWI, according to reports. Hoffman had a blood alcohol level of .12, Freeborn County reports stated.
