Mary Bartholome, 66, of Goodhue

Mass of Christian burial for Mary Ann Bartholome will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary&8217;s Catholic Church, Bellechester, with the Rev. Bruce Peterson officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary&8217;s Catholic Church Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to St. Mary&8217;s Catholic Church Cemetery Fund.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Mahn Family Funeral Home Larson Chapel in Zumbrota and one hour preceding services at the church on Wednesday.

Mary Ann Bartholome, 66, of Goodhue, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2008 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.

She was born on Oct. 7, 1941, in Albert Lea to Paul and Bertha (Anderson) Sipple. She graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1959 and worked as a secretary for St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. On Oct. 16, 1971, she married Carroll Leonard Bartholome at St. John&8217;s Catholic Church in Rochester. They farmed near Bellechester throughout their marriage. Mary enjoyed being a farm wife, reading, crafts, cooking and baking for her family, gardening, puzzles and word finds. She was a member of St. Mary&8217;s Catholic Church.

Mary is survived by her husband of 36 years, Carroll, of Goodhue; two daughters, Paula of Bellechester and Debra of Goodhue; one son, James (Lisa) of Goodhue; four grandchildren, Ashley Warnke, Samantha, Madison and Austin Bartholome; one sister, Kathy (Tom) Haberman of Owatonna; one brother, Richard (Marlene) Sipple of Albert Lea; and many special nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Bertha; her in-laws, Leonard and Loretta Bartholome; and her brother-in-law, Lyle Bartholome.
