The Albert Lea girls&8217; basketball team lost to Rochester Mayo 70-48 Thursday.

Turnovers were one of the main culprits for the Tigers, but the team struggled with its entire game much of the night.

The Tigers shot just 33 percent from the floor and 55 percent at the line while the Spartans were well above both numbers.

Morgan Stadheim led the Tigers with 15 points and Hali Hendrickson added 12.

Mayo got a lot of help off its bench and finished the game with four players scoring in double figures.

Albert Lea is now 3-10 in the Big Nine Conference this season and 5-15 overall. The Tigers host Owatonna tonight at 7:30 p.m.
