The 9:30 a.m. worship service Sunday at Christ Episcopal Church, 204 Fountain St., will be a meditation eucharist featuring pianist Barb Lang and organist Gail Thurnau.

The service is meditative and quiet in nature with all the usual congregational musical responses to the word and sacrament being played by the instrumentalists.

Both Lang and Thurnau have extensive church music experience. This is the 16th year that church musician Thurnau has planned this meditative worship during Lent.

The public is welcome.
