Plans are under way for the 36th annual Bike-A-Thon

Planning for the 36th annual Bike-A-Thon is under way. The 100- mile bicycle ride to raise money to fight cancer is scheduled for Saturday, May 3. The riders start at the Sibley warming house at West Front Street and Maple Hill Drive at 6 a.m.

The second planning meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. Monday, March 3, at the Freeborn County Government Center. Organizers plan to use the traditional route with check points in Glenville, Myrtle, Hayward, Geneva, Hartland, Freeborn, Alden, Conger and Albert Lea.
