Four Albert Lea High School hockey players have been selected to play on the Ted Brill Great 8 All-Star Hockey Festival at Wakota Arena in South St. Paul.

The Section 1 team features goalie Ben Waalkens, forwards Casey Woodside and Jared Bowman and defenseman Adam Royce. The Great 8 comprises seniors from the state&8217;s hockey sections in Class A and AA. The tournament runs April 4-6.

Other players on the Section 1 team are goalie Hakan Yumusakler of Lakeville South, forwards Corey Leivermann, Ryan Anderson and Ricky Litchfield of Mankato West, forward Ryan Kesti of Red Wing, forward

Grant Pavek of Faribault, forward Korby Anderson of Owatonna and forward Chris Cass of Lakeville South.

Defenseman on the team are Erik Ordahl of Rochester Century, Josh Hofstad and Brandon Binder of Lakeville South and Derek Doken of Northfield.
