Bike-A-Thon is coming May 3

The 36th annual Freeborn County Bike-A-Thon is slated for May 3. The event starts at 6 a.m. at the warming house near Sibley Elementary School on the corner of West Front Street and Maple Hill Drive in Albert Lea.
The course goes from there to Glenville, Myrtle, Hayward, Geneva, Hartland, Freeborn, Alden and Conger before returning to the warming house at Sibley Elementary.
Through pledges and entry fees, the bike ride benefits the American Cancer Society. Pledge cards are available at the Albert Lea Community Schools office, Hanson Tire, KATE-AM Radio, Martin Cycling & Fitness and Wells Fargo Bank.
