The funeral service for Dale E. Seifert

of Elgin, Ill., will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bonnerup Funeral Chapel, Albert Lea. The Rev. John Holt will officiate. Friends may visit with family from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

before service at the chapel. Interment will be in the

Salem Memorial Cemetery, Lake Mills, Iowa. Military honors will be accorded.

Dale E. Seifert, 86, of Elgin, Ill., died March 18, 2008. He was born April 5, 1921, in Ledyard, Iowa.

He was the beloved husband of Laura; loving father of Richard (Marge) Seifert of Denver, Colo., Vern (Judy) Seifert of LaCrescent and Linda (Mike) Baier of Gilberts, Ill.; cherished grandfather of six; great-grandfather of 12; and dear brother of Maxine (Harold) Wangen.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Lee, Wayne and Beatrice.

Dale is a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II who loved to travel and visit with his grandchildren. The memories you gave your wife, children and grandchildren will be with us forever and always.
