A public viewing of the documentary film &8220;Paper Clips&8221; will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday at Riverland Community College&8217;s lecture hall on the Albert Lea campus.
The film, presented by Freeborn County Paths to Peace, was written and directed by Joe Fab and Elliot Berlin. This is a description from the filmmakers:
&8220;In 1998, a group of Tennessee schoolchildren embarked on a class project that would change their lives and impact those of countless others around the world. Responding to a history lesson about the Holocaust, the students began collecting 11 million paper clips (a Norwegian symbol of Nazi resistance) to commemorate each of the lives lost in the concentration camps.&8221;
