Pearl Krueger, 60, Albert Lea

The funeral service for Pearl L. Krueger of Albert Lea will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Albert Lea. The Rev. Curtis Zieske will officiate. Visitation will be from 11 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea. Interment will be in the Graceland Cemetery.

Pearl died Thursday, March 13, 2008, at Albert Lea Medical Center after a lengthy struggle with multiple sclerosis. She was 60 years old.

Pearl was born in Ft. Leavenworth, Kan., on Jan. 26, 1948, the daughter of Robert and Pearl (Westcott) Covert. She graduated from Locust Grove High School in Oklahoma in 1966. She was married to Terry Krueger on Oct. 15, 1966, to which three children were born; she later was divorced.

Pearl was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, TLCW and Mary&8217;s Circle. She had worked as a nursing assistant at St. John&8217;s Lutheran Home. Pearl was an avid Vikings fan. Her greatest enjoyment was the time she spent with her grandchildren.

Pearl is survived by her children: Sheila (Rick) Petersen of Albert Lea, Rhonda Krueger and special friend Tavares Walker of Albert Lea and Angie (Jeff) Lepsch of Dakota; foster daughter: Stacy (Brad) DeJong

of Pella, Iowa; grandchildren: Ashley Kaderabek, Travis Kaderabek, Heather De Los Santos, Oscar De Los Santos Jr., Carter Lepsch, Kyra Lepsch, Sawyer Lepsch; great grandchildren: Selena Kaderabek, Savanna Villerreal, Julissa Munos; special friend: Virgil Hockinson of Albert Lea; sister: Bobbie (Buzz) Hagen of Texas; mother: Pearl Maxine Covert of Albert Lea; many nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Duane and Sandi Lind of Albert Lea.

Pearl was preceded in death by her father; and two sisters, Earline Hunt and Judy Knight.
