Phyllis Wagner, 75, Albert Lea

Funeral services for Phyllis Lorraine Wagner, 75, of Albert Lea will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home. The Rev. Jay Dahlvang will officiate. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service.
Phyllis died Monday, March 10, 2008, at St. John&8217;s Lutheran Home.
Phyllis Lorraine Wagner was born on March 19, 1932, to Tillman and Lillian DeBord in Madison County, Iowa. At age 5, Phyllis was adopted by Herman and Dora (Strom) Terbeck of Joice, Iowa. She married Archie Wagner on April 2, 1950, in Mason City, Iowa. They farmed in southern Minnesota before moving to Albert Lea in 1966. Phyllis enjoyed her work at St. John&8217;s as a nurse&8217;s aide, she also worked at Streater for 25 years, until retirement. Phyllis was a member of Salem Lutheran Church and was active in the sewing group and women&8217;s group. She was also a member of the Eagles and Solo Parents. Phyllis enjoyed gardening, camping, cooking, baking, fishing and spending time outdoors. Her greatest joy was her family, grandchildren and wonderful friends.
Survivors include her children, Julie (Dennis) Hamson of Albert Lea, Susan Storlie of Albert Lea, Linda (Steven) Kraushaar of Glenville, Steven (Lori) Wagner of Albert Lea, Marilyn Mason of Martinsburg, W.Va.; grandchildren, Matthew Folie, Phillip (Julie) Folie, Robert (Jenny) Storlie, Lisa Kraushaar, Sean Kraushaar, Scott Kraushaar, Christopher Wagner, Jeremiah (Desirae) Wagner, Angela Wagner, Isaac Mason, Jacob Mason; great-grandchildren, Axel Folie, Zachary Folie, Marcus Folie, Hannah Storlie, and Nathaniel Storlie; sister, Barbara (Leon) Baumeier; brother, Clinton Terbeck; many nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Archie; son, John Wagner; and grandsons, Chad Kraushaar, Terry Kraushaar and William Storlie.
