St. Patricks Day meal, party planned

A one-time annual tradition for Albert Leans &8212; an Irish meal and a party for St. Patrick&8217;s Day &8212; has returned.
A group of Irish descendants plan to hold a St. Patrick&8217;s Day party at the American Legion Hall in Albert Lea.
The dinner will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday. The food will be corned beef and cabbage, mulligan stew and green beer.
The program will begin at 5:30 p.m. It features singer Jim Broberg and keyboard player Tonia Lauer.
Another St. Patty&8217;s supper of corned beef and cabbage will be from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Elks Lodge.
Both meals are open to the public.
