Behind the strength of medalist Kelli Hanson&8217;s 84 the Albert Lea girls&8217; golf team narrowly defeated Rochester Mayo Tuesday afternoon 403-408.

&8220;It was some pretty tough conditions for the girl&8217;s today,&8221; said Tigers head coach Shawn Riebe. &8220;But despite the playing conditions we went out and played our best. That&8217;s all I can ask.&8221;

Scores for the Tigers include Hanson&8217;s 84, Abby Leach with 108, Heather Greibrok with 106, Alicia Heilmann with 110, Taylor Nelson with 111, and Erin Brick with 105.
