David Popp, a board-certified internal medicine physician, has joined the Internal Medicine Department at Albert Lea Medical Center &045; part of Mayo Health System. He now sees patients on the second floor of the clinic.

ALMC&8217;s board-certified internal medicine physicians specialize in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disorders of internal parts of the body, such as the lungs, heart, kidneys, stomach, intestinal tract, liver, blood, joints and glands.

Popp received his medical degree from Saint Georges University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, and recently worked at Quentin Burdick, Indian Health Service in Belcourt, N.D.
