Angela Koziolek Mosier passed over into her eternal home Sunday morning, April 6, 2008, at Traditions Assisted Living Center in Owatonna. She died a month before her 93rd birthday. Angela was born in the Koziolek farm home in Wells, May 9, 1915. She was the 10th child of Martha and Theodore Koziolek. Her siblings include Mary Szuwart, Hedwig Langner, Monica Ignaszewski, brothers: Alex, Paul, Joe, Stanley, and Martha Klocek, Elizabeth (Sister M. Janice, SSND). The first sister, Agnes, died in infancy.
She attended Freeborn grade school and St. Casimir&8217;s Catholic School in Wells. Angela graduated from Freeborn High School in 1933 and cared for her ailing mother.
In November of 1938, she married Ello Mosier. The happy couple farmed in various areas around Bath and Ellendale. During these years eight children arrived and blessed their home. The Mosier children are: Ellen (Joe) Allen, Duane (Rita Vail), Don, Roy (Carolyn), Ginger (Terry) Braaten, Cathy (John) Cook, Patricia (J. Clarke) Stevens, and Mary (Mike) Goetz. They, their spouses, 25 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren grieve over Angela&8217;s absence.
Angela had a special love for the faith with which she was gifted and to St. Aiden Church to which she belonged. She was able to share friendship during her 19 years of work at Spurgeon&8217;s store in Owatonna. As a homemaker, plants and flowers had a great place in her life.
Visitation will be held at Bonnerup and Son Funeral Chapel at 308 Seventh Ave., Ellendale, from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Mass of Christian burial will be at St. Aiden&8217;s Catholic Church, Highway 30, Ellendale, on Monday at 10:30. Interment will be in St. Aiden&8217;s Catholic Cemetery following Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the School Sisters of Notre Dame, Mankato, or to St. Aiden&8217;s Church of Ellendale.
