Donna Mae (Mrs. Melvin) Qualey, 79, of Faribault, died on Sunday, April 20, 2008, at her home.

Obituaries of those who die from cancer oftentimes state she died after a courageous fight. Others state she died after a valiant fight. Donna wanted to state: After over four years of extensive chemotherapy treatments for stage four ovarian cancer, she was tired, her luck ran out, and the cancer beat her.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at First English Lutheran Church, Faribault, with the Rev. David Hurtt officiating. Interment will be at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Faribault.
