WELCOME &8212; The Knights of Alden-Conger traveled to Welcome Tuesday afternoon to face Martin County West in a Valley Conference match-up and was routed 22-4.

Defensively the Knights struggled with multiple errors in the field but were given a lift by strong pitching performances by Lucas Kleinschrodt and Matt Bremseth. Bremseth also blasted a two-run homer for the Knights in just their second game of the season.

A-C will try to regroup as it brings its 1-1 record to Austin this weekend to participate in the Lyle/Pacelli baseball invite.
