Maleta Breamer, 94, Albert Lea

The funeral service for Maleta Ida Breamer of Albert Lea will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at the Concordia Lutheran Church of Pickerel Lake. The Rev. Wendy Anderson will officiate. Interment will be in Concordia Lutheran Cemetery, Pickerel Lake. Visitation will be today
from 5 to 7 p.m. at Bonnerup Funeral service in Albert Lea, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Maleta died on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. She was 94.
She was born on Dec. 21, 1913, in Freeborn County the daughter of Carl and Elsie (Stern) Wittmer.
Maleta, a Freeborn County resident all of her life attended country school.
On Sept. 6, 1939, she married Willis Breamer at Concordia Lutheran Church, Pickerel Lake. She was an awesome mother, grandmother and great grandmother as well as an active homemaker enjoying sewing, quilting, flowers and plants and was a great cook.
She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church where she had been very active in Altar Guild, Ladies Aid, Junior Lutherans, quilting and helping in the kitchen. She had been a member of the Ladies Farm Bureau and a 4-H leader.
Maleta will be greatly missed by her family, children: Leonard of Albert Lea, Kenneth (Geraldine) Breamer of Albert Lea, Vernon (Darlene) Breamer of Minnesota Lake, Carlyn Tufte of Albert Lea and JoAnn (David) Sorensen of Alden; grandchildren: Curtis (Lori) Breamer, Craig (Joan) Breamer, Ryan Breamer and fiance/ Michelle Untiedt, Scott (Susan) Breamer, Kimberly Breamer, Angela (Kerry) Doyle, Pamela (Mitchell) Jacobs, Kevin (Michelle) Tufte, Christopher Sorensen and fiance/ Alison Phillips, Jennifer (Chad) Miller and Joshua Sorensen; 18 great- grandchildren; and sister Margaret Yost of Albert Lea.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Willis, brothers Ervin, Clarence, Manferd Wittmer, son-in-law Irvin Tufte and granddaughter April Sorensen.
