Carol Olson set a new career high score in bowling at the end of March.

Olson threw a 278 and finished with a 573 series. Her previous high game was 208.

&8220;I was speechless,&8221; Olson said. &8220;I was weak in the knees and very nervous in the last few frames, especially the 10th.&8221;

Olson now maintains a 153 average, up from her previous high of 145.

Olson enjoys bowling for the fun and exercise, she said.

Olson has been bowling for 15 years and is part of the Old Kids league at Holiday Lanes.

She says she enjoys all the people she bowls with in the Old Kids league.

Olson also said she enjoys the turkey hugs.
