Gov. Tim Pawlenty approved bonding for the $2.5 million North Edgewater Park landfill project Monday as part of the $717 million state bonding bill.
After using his line-item veto power to lower the price of the bill, Pawlenty lowered the bill requests from $925 million to $717 million.
It is unclear whether other local requests for Riverland Community College and the Manchester and Myrtle projects were still included in the bill.
