Andrew Loge, 71, Albert Lea

The funeral service for Andrew (Andy) Loge of Albert Lea will be 2 p.m. Friday at First Lutheran Church, Albert Lea. The Rev. Dan Baker will officiate. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea, and one hour before the service at the church.
Military honors will be accorded.
Andy died Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at the Albert Lea Medical Center. He was 71 years old.
Andy was born March 6, 1937, at Blue Earth to Hans and Mildred (Shuttleworth) Loge. His family moved to Albert Lea in 1941 and he attended Albert Lea High School. Andy was a baptized and confirmed member of First Lutheran Church.
Andy married Donna Hanna in 1957 at Glenville.
He had painted water towers, had worked for Johnson Brothers Construction, and Queen and presently was working for Motor Inn. Andy was a Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the American Legion.
Andy enjoyed fishing, camping, snowmobiling and deer hunting.
He also enjoyed sports, especially softball.
Andy is survived by his wife Donna Loge; son: Rick Loge and his wife Cheryl of Litchfield; granddaughter: Kristine of Fargo-Moorhead; and grandson: Mitch Loge of Fargo-Moorhead; sisters: Betty Gudmonson and her husband Vernon of Lake Mills, Iowa, and Ann Hanson and her husband Lyle of Albert Lea; brothers: Gene Loge and his wife Ila of Albert Lea and Terry Loge and his wife Barb of El Paso, Texas; many nieces and nephews.
Andy is preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Mike, William and Marion Loge.
