Bottom of the order paces USC softball

Becca Olson had a perfect night at the plate for the United South Central softball team and the bottom of the order produced five hits and three RBIs in a 10-5 win Thursday over Waterville-Elysian-Morristown.
Olson paced the offense with her 4-for-4 night and added 2 RBIs as the team pounded out 18 hits on the evening.
Nos. 8 and 9 hitters Kelsey Stevermer and Megan Linder had five hits, scored three runs and drove in three in the offensive onslaught. Stevermer boasts a .485 on-base percentage on the year.
&8220;We kept hitting the ball very well,&8221; head coach Brad Huse said. &8220;We&8217;re playing well right now.&8221;
Kellie Robbins pitched seven strong innings and allowed three earned runs on nine hits as the Rebels (6-7 overall, 4-4 Gopher) inched closer to the .500 mark.
