Boy hit by car, transported

A 7-year-old boy was transported by ambulance to the Albert Lea Medical Center at 5:18 p.m. Monday after he was struck by a car on the 1200 block of Clark Street near Hayek Field, according to police reports. Reports indicated 20-year-old Seth Stolaas of Albert Lea was driving his vehicle eastbound on Clark Street past Hayek Park when the boy, Jacob Henry, pulled out in front of him on a bike. Stolaas did not have time to react and

struck the boy. Henry received minor injuries.

Bicycles reported stolen

Two bicycles were reported stolen from a driveway on the 1500 block of Southview Lane at 5:56 a.m. Monday, according to reports.

Table, chair stolen

A patio table and four chairs were reported stolen from the 1300 block of Foothills Boulevard at 12:36 p.m. Monday, reports stated.

Money stolen

About $75 in cash was reported missing from purses during a dance show Saturday at Albert Lea High School, according to reports.
