Bush’s comments about Hitler made no sense

I was shocked and angered by George Bush’s remarks about talking to Hitler.
He obviously doesn’t remember much about World War II.
Hitler’s object was to rule the whole world. He would march into countries without warning and take them over and did many of them.
Our president showed much wisdom in dealing with the matter. First we helped England with the Lend Lease program sending food and war supplies. Also, we began taking men into service and training them. He took time to prepare, not rush right in like Bush did in Iraq.
That situation is no comparison to what we have now everyone realized that war was necessary.
Our troops remarked at one time we didn’t even have the equipment to fix their trucks etc. this time.
It’s unfortunate a person feels bad about all the unnecessary loss of lives of our young men and also those who are maimed for life and wasted money and resources.
There was no terrorist in Iraq and no war going on when we went in. The terrorist came in to fight us.
It’s unfortunate this man could not have been replaced before all this happened as his judgment has really been flawed.
