The Alden-Conger boys&8217; golf team improved to 13-9 on the year Monday with a dominating 187-204 win over Lake Crystal/Wellcome Memorial.

&8220;We are really playing well right now,&8221; said Knights head coach Matt Hallman. &8220;Lately, we have been having three or four guys shoot in the mid 40&8217;s and 50&8217;s, that&8217;s huge.&8221;

Brandon McTague took medalist honors for the Knights with an impressive 45 while Sam Hallman and Casey Strom came in just one stroke back with a 46. Michael Ryerson finished out A-C&8217;s foursome with a 50.

The Knights will compete in the Valley Conference tournament today in Blue Earth where coach Hallman believes they have a shot at the title.

&8220;I&8217;m hoping for a top two or three finish, but we are capable of winning it all if we play like we play well.&8221;
