The United South Central boys&8217; golf team struggled with the high winds Thursday in Mongomery with a ninth place finish.

The Rebel golfers posted a team score of 410 while Mayer Lutheran had the low score of 328 followed by Prior Lake who was just one stroke out of first place at 329.

&8220;Obviously I&8217;m disappointed in finishing in last place,&8221; said Rebels head coach Randy Halvorson. &8220;We had some really high scores but I was pleased with the way Alex Pederson played today.&8221;

Pederson led USC with an impressive four over par 77. Other Rebel scorers include Matt Hassing 103, Eric Willaby 108, and Brody Chirpich 121.
