Skyler Hanson won the award for the Young Artist and the Principal’s Award for straight A’s at Hawthorne Elementary School June 4. She will begin fifth-grade in the fall. The framed artwork is a Skyler Hanson original and will hang in a Hawthorne hallway until Hanson graduates from high school. The picture will be returned to her at the graduation ceremony.
