The Brownville Village Theatre (BVT) began its 42nd season of summer performances June 13 and will run through Aug. 17.

The theatre is under the direction of Dr. Charles “Chet” Harper who is returning for his sixth season. A company of 14 actors will present five plays in true repertory fashion. The plays for this season include “Don’t Dress For Dinner,” “Time Out For Ginger,” “Rumors,” “House On The Cliff” and “Kiss or Make Up.”

Nissa Nordland of Albert Lea is returning for her second year at the Brownville Theatre. She is acting in three plays, including “Time Out for Ginger,” “Rumors” and “House on the Cliff.” Nordland is also a box office manager and script supervising “Kiss or Make Up.”

Single admission tickets are $12 for adults (tax included) and $8 for students 18 and under. Discount tickets, group rates and “Dinner and a Show” are also available. All seats are reserved and advanced reservations are necessary. Call any time to check on availability of tickets.
