Louise Seedorf

Funeral services Louise Margaret Seedorf of Albert Lea will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Calvary Baptist Church in Albert Lea. The Rev. Roger Davies will officiate. Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 4 until 7 p.m. at Bonnerup Funeral Service and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Mrs. Seedorf died Thursday evening, June 26, 2008, at the Albert Lea Medical Center. She was 84 years of age.
Louise was born Sept. 29, 1923, in Carter County Ky., the daughter of William Norman and Stella Myrtle (Hutchison) Shaffer. She attended public school through 8th grade in Grayson, Ky. She was baptized at the Calvary Baptist Church in Albert Lea where she had been a resident since 1945.
Louise worked for many years doing factory work and she enjoyed cooking in area restaurants and nursing homes.
Some of her favorite past times included cooking, gardening, fishing and family picnics. Her biscuits and gravy were a family favorite.
Louise is survived by her children; Janet Register of Clarks Grove, Geneva O’Rourke of Effingham, Ill., Patricia (Alan) Jepson of Albert Lea, Sonya Paulson of Albert Lea and Brenda (Robert) Parry of Albert Lea. There are 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters: Violet (Val) Bradley and husband Lawrence of Grayson, Ky., Virginia (Jean) Slone and husband John of Grayson, Ky.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings.
