I read the letter critizing Marion Ross, and I don’t think she has to do anything for Albert Lea. I didn’t think it was necessary to change the theatre’s name, but I also do not like change, so with people like me there would be no progress or change in Albert Lea.

Marion Ross personally is another matter. I met her once and she is a gracious, kind, lady. Having her here makes Albert Lea feel “special” for a day or two, and we all need that. I would have been honored to have her speak at my graduation.
