An estimated 15 locations all over Albert Lea were reported to have been spray-painted with graffiti overnight on Wednesday.
On Thursday afternoon Albert Lea Police Chief Dwaine Winkels said some of the locations included Snyder Drug, the former Ramsey School, the city pool, China Buffet, Wal-Mart and several businesses downtown. He estimated even more complaint calls would be coming in the rest of the day.
Winkels said witnesses have reported seeing several juvenile males spray-painting Wednesday night.
He said he thinks it could have been the result of more than one group of teens but does not know whether the teens were communicating through the graffiti. People can be looking for teens with blue and black paint on their hands.
