Robert Geesman of Wells was awarded the Yellow and Blue Scholarship and the Campanile-Valedictorian Scholarship for the 2008-09 school year at South Dakota State University.

Geesman is an incoming freshman, majoring in ag business at SDSU this fall and the son of Gary and Angie Geesman of Wells.

He is a 2008 graduate of the Alden-Conger High School.
