Salvation Army takes part in summer food service program

The Salvation Army is participating in the summer food service program. Meals are provided to all eligible children. An eligible child is a child that is enrolled in the Salvation Army day camp program.
Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. The Salvation Army will be partnering with Youth for Christ — The Rock to assure no child goes without food for the summer.
Youth for Christ will be the open site at 116 W. Clark St., Albert Lea. This location is open to any school aged children to 18 years of age. Lunch will be through Aug. 20, Monday through Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
Meals will be provided at the Salvation Army, 302 Court St., Albert Lea. Breakfast will be Monday through Friday 7:30 to 9 a.m. and lunch will be held Monday through Friday 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
